How to prepare you items for consignment
Following these simple steps to help you
clean closets and make money!

Just like
department stores, our customers want us to stock what they are looking
for NOW! If you have questions about particular
items, please feel free to call the store!!
SPRING & SUMMER- late January to late
May
FALL & WINTER- late July to late
November
Inspect your items.
Inspect all items for staining,
holes, fraying edges,broken zippers, missing buttons,
excessive wash wear and fading.
- For infant items pay close attention to necklines for staining.
- Check the knees on the jeans, are they just about to tear through?
- Test all zippers on jackets, sweaters and coats.
- Is your navy still navy? Black still black?
Fold outfits together (do not pin them as this can leave holes in the items) and place them neatly
into a laundry basket, sterlite container or handled shopping bag.
For Shoes.
Here are some tips on preparing shoes for consignment:
- most shoes will have some dirt. Spray down the toes and
sides of tennis shoes (do not use on Suede type shoes)
with Fantastic spray cleaner. Scrub with a clean paper towel.
This will remove most dirt and allow you to see if the toes on
your shoes have been scuffed through the leather.
- Many canvas shoes, flip flops and croc style shoes can be
washed in the washing machine.
- If you have the boxes for your shoes, bring them with you.
Shoes will always sell better in their original packaging!
